The D-Lite Rollator is from Drive Medical one of the country's fastest growing manufacture of Durable Medical Equipment. The rollator is equipped with loop brakes that easily release without "snap-back" that can pulled up to stop or pushed down into a locked position. Ergonomic handles are easy to grip. The all aluminum construction allows the rollator to maintain a strong and solid frame. Large 8" casters make it easy to maneuver both indoor and out. Contoured padded back for comfort. This Rollator is well made.The large (8 inch wheels) is ideal for use outdoors. I particularly like the front mounted basket rather than an under the seat model.

I couldn’t say enough good things about the walker. It’s strong, sturdy, simple to use. It moves great, and the brakes are simple to understand and use. It’s easy to fold up, and to open back up. I purchased this for my grandmother, who had been using a standard walker. She’s not big on change, but wanted to try it the moment she saw it. She had no problem using it at all. She even used it at the table for her chair…as she said the walker was easier to get up and down from. We couldn’t be happier with it!

My son is under 30, with significant health/mobility issues. I got this for him, and he has been using it consistently with great feedback. It was very easy to put together; only a few moving parts that snapped into place or had big hand screws that didn’t require any tools at all. It showed up within three days of order. Excellent material, and service.

I became acquainted with walkers & rollators after my husband’s heart attack – and found out that mobility was going to be ‘key’ to improving his health. A wheeled walker – rollator – answered this need. Since that time I also suffered a back injury and found out first hand that all rollators are not created equal. The first decision to consider is ‘where am I going to be using this walker most? Indoors/housebound? Or for transport in and out of a vehicle – to the store, clinic, etc. Either way you will most likely prefer a lightweight and easily transportable device and this D-Lite model fits the bill. Indoors, the swivel wheels make it a God-send for turning in tight locations. Outdoors 8″ swivel wheels are a must for maneuverability especially in snowy areas. The only place I fault this D-lite model is on the quality of the wheel for use outdoors. In my experience the rollators having the ‘gray/white’ rubber wheel have proved to have more traction and be the more durable wheel. The removable basket is a great convenience and this rollator also has an excellent seat and back rest. One last note: if you are outdoors more than in or traveling over rough or uneven ground – you will want to compare the Cosco Ability Care Traveler (or Cruiser with backrest) Style Rollator.
