How well do walkers work on carpet?
I'm thinking about getting my son a walker but am wondering if it's worth the money since most of our house is carpeted.

There are only a few tiled areas like kitchen, dinning, and bathrooms.

Will he be able to roll it on the carpet?
my house is 1 story.

What is a mccoy?

Walkers are very dangerous for babies and cause many accidents.

Get him a stationary table, not a walker.

No. It takes ages for them to learn to roll them on tiles! Mine never used hers at all.

Our house is mainly tile and carpets in the bedrooms and family room and the walker goes fine on all the surfaces, It even moves smoothly from one to another. It has a wide base so it is very stable. My daughter loves it too, gives her mobility.

DONT!! i fell down stairs when i was a baby in a walker. we would all say that we wouldnt let our children out of our sight for that to happen, but it does happen and even doctors tell you not to get them. PLEASE do research before getting one. even hitting a bump can make them tip over so even if u dont have stairs, they arent safe. i dont even know why they still make them!!

Like one of those ones he walks behind and pushes or one he goes into and moves it around?

My daughter has the one that she walks behind and pushes and our entire living room is carpeted along with the bedrooms. She does prefer pushing it on the tile but she can push it on the carpet as well. Just takes a bit more effort is all.
