Overall I was pleased with the walker purchase with the improved backrest on the walker compared to the last time I purchased this walker and as shown in the pictue. I was however dissapointed that they changed the brakes on the walker. I was buying this walker because I did not destroy the brakes easily with this brand but the new brakes I will distroy rather quickly.

The seat is too high. User’s feet don’t reach the ground.

    Otherwise, good product!

This Medline walker may be less expensive than other brands, such as Dana Douglas (the Lexus of walkers), or Invacare or Nova walkers (about mid-range quality brands), but as the old saying goes “you get what you pay for.”

While this walker worked fine for me at first, after a year of steady use it has already broken down to the point of being quite unusable; it rattles a lot now, and one of the wheels has bent, so that it is almost impossible to use except in a straight line. With even slight turns, I now must wrestle with it, to get it to turn. I often have to pick the whole thing up and reposition it. This is both awkward and painful. If you already have mobility and/or pain issues, it makes those issues worse if you have to wrestle with a walker to make it work. I am now shopping for a higher quality (albeit more expensive) brand, such as those mentioned above. It will be worth it to pay more for a walker that will stand up to daily use (including folding for transport in cars), and that will not give out so soon.

It is too heavy to carry out to the car and to get folded up by myself. It does not want to be used as a wheelchair according to the directions, but that’s what I want to do with it when I sit down on it in the kitchen and want to roll back and forth between stove and kitchen counter. I forget that warning again and again and struggle to force it to go backwards, and this has been good for my lazy muscles that got so weak in the months I was in and out of the hospital that I need all the struggle I can get, to strengthen them. I can’t walk as upright as I can with the old one with the tennis balls on the back legs, and it doesn’t make SCHROOOOCH noises like the tennis balls do, but I think I’ll keep this troublesome luxury sports walker now that I am walking so much better because my muscles are getting stronger just fighting the thing. I recommend it to keep you sweating and grunting and doing better every day. This Medline Rollator is pretty good for that.
