Prolotherapy again...Looking for more true results...?
My father is 83 years old, has degenerative spinal disease. He is now only able to get around with a walker,or rollator. He had cortizone shots a couple of months ago. They helped him enough so that he could walk without even canes, this lasted about 6 weeks. He has had 2 more sets of shots since, with no help. Now doctor wants him to try shots directly in spine. I don't like this idea. My father is allergic to most all pain medications for they do not work for him at all. I need to know if Prolotherapy would be a good thing for him to try, and if anyone knows if it would actually do any good for an older person. I would appreciate any help here. My father has always been very independant, now is just depressed and having very chronic pain issues. Thanks.
