Do always have to take the dogs to the park or can they just walk them on normal streets?

I'm trying to start a dog walking business in my neighborhood in LA and am just trying to figure it all out. Thanks in advance!

You can walk them on the streets as long as if the dog craps you clean it up and if it's aloud. Lol.

It depends on where you live; the laws in your city/town, the amount of traffic and will that bug the dog, etc.
Pet owners might like that you walk them to a nearby park more or they may have a route they like to take. Ask the owner and good luck with your business!

i dont see why u have to take it to the park. the park is just a more dog friendly environment. when walking on the streets be careful though. watch out for cars, bikes, and angry, rude people…(city)……for the country watch out for cars or things that might distract the dog

when i was in school , I used to walk dogs for extra money . i alwasy walked then 2 miles around the town and took them to the park once a week when possible . If you cant take them to the park its fine , walking them around town is fine . have fun

Walking them on the streets would be more ideal.
I do that with my dogs, since I dont like them going to dog parks.
My vet advised me that many animals get sick from going to the dog
parks, they can get fleas, ticks (depending where it is) and pick up
things / diseases from other dogs. Heartworm is also popular :P
Also, my dogs arent good with others lol, so its best to not take em to a dog
    park :)
The cement of the streets will help with the dogs nails too, so its ten times better
to take them walking on streets :D

haha nope u can request for the walker to walk them on regular streets and if not find someone else

well you can do both but there is more risk of a dog getting hurt on a street in LA

i do both … some dogs i walk are social and with permission of the owners i bring them to an off leash beach … but some dogs are not social and i just walk them on streets …
