How can Scott Walker fire all the Wisconsin Teachers, when they work for districts, and not the state?
I keep hearing conservatives say that Governor Walker needs to fire all the teachers.
They work for school districts, correct? The governor has actually nothing whatsoever to do with them, right?
How does a Governor in charge of a state, fire teachers who work for a school district which has nothing to do with state government?

He can cut school funding then what do you think will happen? DOH!!!
If someone refuse to show up for work, do they not deserve to be fired and even, by their actions, ASK TO BE? The State of Wisconsin pays their salaries whose districts are funded by the Legislature.
This idiot is sinking his own ship. I say let him try. The revolt will be staggering.
The school districts are funded by the state. If the funds are reduced, the districts will be forced to lay off teachers. The district would choose who would be laid off not Gov Walker.
