What Is The Safest Type Of Rollator For Walking Assistance?

Fall prevention using a 3 or 4 wheeled rollator is desired. I am interested in a comparison of the safety of these two devices.

I have a four wheel walker with handles to push with. It also has hand brakes and a seat on it so you can sit down and rest. Most of these have a small wire basket that can be attached to the front of the walker if you need it, as in shopping. Ask your doctor for a prescription for one of these and if you have medicare or insurance, they will probably pay for it. I think they are about $100.00. By the way, it does fold up so you can transport it via auto. Good luck.

I would advise going with a four-wheel rollator. Try http://www.worxforlife.com. They have a big selection of rollators and walkers. My grandfather has severe parkinsons disease and owns a couple different kinds of rollators. They are great for helping him get around even in narrow areas that wheelchairs can’t go.
