You are a vehicle. You are subject to the same laws and regulations as motorized vehicles. Legally you have the same rights too. Just remember, that in over 65 years on 2 wheels, I’ve never seen a bike of motorcycle win a right of way dispute with a car, no matter who was right.
As a bike rider you are a motor vehicle so you follow all the same rules as a car, including STAY OFF THE SIDEWALK.
As a bicycle riding on the road, you class as a vehicle and hence must follow all the road laws as a vehicle. This includes stopping at red traffic lights. If you wish to cross a pedestrian crossing, you must dismount from the bike and walk the bike across.
A bicycle is technically a vehicle unlike skateboards or roller blades. It should be driven like cars in an intersction, because otherwise it would be like a car driving through the crosswalks
Drive on the road and obey the rules for drivers. A bicycle is a road vehicle.
Depends on where I am, and the traffic.
As a rider, my bicycle is classed as a vehicle. I must follow the road rules and laws.
Off my bicycle, I am a pedestrian and allowed to use the crosswalk.
