This picture is apperently taken in Maastricht, which is the area where they come from (a very distinct part of the Netherlands). One of the Walkers is born in the same town as me and my father used to see them back in the old days (heard some crazy stories).

cant help listening to this classic without tears rolling down my face, it reminds me of my “then Big brother” who passed away at the age of 20 in 1976. I used to see him as a MAN, a grown up and all that…after these many years have gone by, i look back and realize he was just a KID after all.

The Walkers it was a Dutch band.
The Walkers was a Danish glam rock band featuring singer-composer Torben Lendager, guitarist Gert Michelsen, drummer-lyricist Poul Dehnhardt and bassist Jan Kanstrup Hansen. It was founded in 1968 and broke up in 1977.
