When ive been abroad sometimes ive seen Lays crisps are they like walkers?
THe lays crisps logo is just like the walkers logo except with the word lays instead of walkers, so i was wondering if Lays owned walkers or walkers owned lays. Im from the UK btw. So if you know, please tell..

I live in Holland. We have here lays crisps. I am sure they used to be Smiths then Walkers bought Smiths and called everything Lays. That´s what I think anyway because the cheese and onion Lays don´t taste the same as Walkers cheese and onion which are my fave

Edit - OK the pepsi group own walkers, smiths and lays are a product of their ownership. That is why they taste different and look the same.

Walkers is currently owned by Frito-Lay but, as an ex-pat Brit, I think that Walkers crisps to be far better than Lays. Lays tend to be a little on the greasy side. I even buy British crisps from importers because, in my opinion, they are much better and there is a greater variety of flavours.
